Our team is not paid based on how much they sell, like some other companies.  Our priority is to make our community safer one building at a time.  

We focus on ways to achieve your goal in the most cost effective way possible.  We will NOT say that you need a whole service upgrade when you don't need it.

We prioritize jobs what require our assistance because of safety issues, not jobs that will contribute to gentrification. 

 Our primary objective is to be an honest and reliable source for our community which encompasses BIPOC, queer, trans, working class, elders, other marginalized communities and organizations working towards social justice, safety and equity.  That rarely frees us up for projects in more affluent communities.

We believe everyone deserves a union standard life.  All of our electricians work with a high standard of excellence in workmanship and safety.  They receive all the benefits that Local 46 IBEW has to offer including medical, gender affirming healthcare, dental, vision, pension, annuity, vacation fund and more.  Because our workers are well taken care of, their disposition at any given job is incomparable to most workers. 

Tribal Electric fosters a culture of safety, teamwork, support and mutual mentorship.  We all learn from each other, help each other, teach each other and keep each other safe on the job.  Everyone is encouraged to participate in the overall wellness of the team.  Initiate stretch and flex breaks throughout the day, announce a reminder to hydrate, offer tips to make tasks easier or safer. This relieves a lot of stress and makes it easier to get projects done quicker and safer. Because of this, you'll hear jokes and laughter on all of our projects. 

Because there are so many elders in our community needing work done on thier homes, we are working towards being able to commit to a couple of safety related electrical projects free of charge for them.  

100% of our business has been word of mouth so we can stay focused in our communities. We don't pay for advertising  EXCEPT for buying ad space in programs for social justice organizations' events.

When it comes down to it, EVERY licensed and registered electrical contractor in the state of Washington should be able to add circuits, troubleshoot, wire remodels, bring power to tiny houses, etc.  When you choose us, you get all that and more. You will be supporting the values of safe communities, family wage jobs and people over profit. We are building a legacy that we want you to be a part of.
